INFORMATION RE ELECTRONIC PAYMENT SURCHARGE

Surcharges apply to all payments by credit card or PayPal.

As at 14 May 2021, the surcharges are:
2.6% for payment by Visa or Mastercard
2.6% for payment via PayPal

These surcharges are higher than you may expect. This is because the credit card providers regard our industry as having a higher risk of fraud and apply a higher rate to us as a result.

Please be assured that the eCollect surcharge recovers the amount charged to us by our credit card providers. We make no profit as a result of the surcharge.

The surcharge may be avoided entirely by paying by BPay or Electronic Funds Transfer.
